Sistema de Alerta Temprana de Incendios para Personas con Discapacidad Auditiva Basado en IoT y Señales Hápticas

El presente trabajo describe el desarrollo de un sistema de seguridad IoT híbrido diseñado para la detección temprana de incendios mediante la integración de sensores de temperatura, humedad (DHT11) y CO (MQ-7) conectados a un ESP32 que reenvía la información a un smartwatch y un smartphone (SMS/Telegram) para alertar a usuarios con discapacidad auditiva en tiempo real. La metodología empleada consta de una etapa de adquisición de datos (placa ESP32) y una etapa de procesamiento con motor de inferencia difusa implementado en un TicWatch E3 con Wear OS 3.5 utilizando el lenguaje Kotlin para analizar las variables de entrada y determinar el nivel de riesgo (Bajo, Medio, Alto y Extremo). El sistema determina automáticamente entre amenazas por humo o fuego activo apoyado de confirmación visual mediante el algoritmo Yolov8s, cuyos resultados de detección son enviados a través de un mensaje de Telegram. Los resultados demuestran que la aplicación es capaz de activar retroalimentación háptica y reproducir vídeo con señas de alertamiento en lengua de señas mexicana en el smartwatch al superar los umbrales de seguridad. Durante la etapa de pruebas, se obtuvieron resultados sobresalientes al aplicar las métricas de precisión y exactitud, con un resultado del 97%, mientras que MAE (Mean Absolute Error) presentó un puntaje de 0.0327 en una simulación Monte Carlo de 3000 casos para validar el motor difuso, mientras que, en las pruebas en entorno real, el sistema reaccionó de forma precisa, con una aceptación favorable por parte de los usuarios que participaron en los experimentos.Citas
