Lecciones Aprendidas de la Literatura: Buenas Prácticas en el Diseño de Mecánicas para Diferentes Géneros de Videojuegos

Resumen. El presente artículo realiza un mapeo sistemático de la literatura sobre diseño de mecánicas de videojuegos, con el objetivo de identificar las buenas prácticas más recurrentes y efectivas aplicadas en distintos géneros. A partir del análisis de fuentes académicas y profesionales, se destacan los aportes de marcos teóricos como MDA (Mechanics, Dynamics and Aesthetics), el Tetrad de Schell, y propuestas recientes centradas en la experiencia del jugador. El estudio organiza las lecciones aprendidas según los principales géneros (plataformas, puzzles, RPG, estrategia, acción-aventura, entre otros), señalando patrones comunes y recomendaciones específicas. Entre los hallazgos principales se encuentran la importancia de diseñar mecánicas centrales claras, promover elecciones significativas, balancear riesgo-recompensa, y adaptar la progresión y feedback según el perfil del jugador. Finalmente, se ofrece una síntesis de buenas prácticas transversales que sirven como guía para diseñadores, así como un panorama de vacíos en la literatura que pueden orientar futuras investigaciones.Citas
